Wonderful juicy stewed red fruit with a very spicy element on the palate and lean, crisp structure. (RH)

8.8 miles from the coast. Very pale crimson. It’s light, it’s fresh. But does it really have the substance to bewitch? Good as an alternative but I think I might seek a little more substance after a while. (JR)

Bottled unfined and unfiltered, the 2013 Pinot Noir La Neblina is from an organically farmed vineyard planted in Goldridge soils. This is generally from Dijon clones with a little bit of Mt. Eden. The wine is round, juicy, with dark berry fruit, tobacco leaf and forest floor notes, medium body and soft tannins. It should drink nicely for at least 7-10 years.

Lifted red fruit with no sweetness, and conifer accents with light spice and hints of graphite, Radio Coteau’s La Neblina Pinot carries pleasant depth of character with good acidity, judicious tannin, and lots of length. Delicious and interesting. (ECB)
