The 2016 Cemetery is plush, deep and explosive. Black cherry, chocolate, menthol and spice are front and center in this decidedly unctuous wine from Les and Lisa Behrens. Cemetery is one of the most overt wines in this range, and that is saying something given the exuberance that is such a hallmark of these wines.
The deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Cemetery Napa Valley features wonderfully gregarious scents of crushed red and black currants, warm plums, black raspberries and cigar box with wafts of violets, tilled soil and black olives. Full-bodied, rich and decadent, the palate features a beautiful frame of fine-grained tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and layered.
