Score 92/100 · Drink 2015-2025, Robert Parker, Oct 2015

One of three Pinot Noirs I tasted, all bottled unfined and unfiltered, the 2013 Pinot Noir Savoy is made from the Pommard, Martini and Calera clones, plus Dijon clone 115 that demonstrates the cool-climate cranberry, blueberry and sweet and sour cherry fruit of this area. The wine is elegant, medium-bodied, coiled tightly, but beautifully structured, while pure and impressive. It should drink well for at least a decade.

The 2013 Pinot Noir Savoy is impressive. Rich and voluptuous on the palate, the 2013 is endowed with striking mid-palate resonance and texture. Crushed flowers, spices, red cherries and plums flesh out in an expressive, perfumed finish supported by silky, suave tannins. In 2013, the Savoy is marvelously complete.
