Selbach's 2021 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese * opens with a generous and aromatic bouquet that is much less reductive than so many Mosel Rieslings but offers a concentrated fruity nose. Salty, savory and lush on the palate, this is a mouthfilling and textured WSU Spätlese with crystalline acidity structuring the rich and almost creamy texture. 8% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in October 2022.
