The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma Valley displays an inky black hue and opens to lush aromas of black plum, licorice, purple flowers, and balsamic herbs. Approachable and full-bodied, it fills the palate with ample ripeness, plush tannins, and a warming finish. It’s a classic and lovely entry to the Cabernet wines from Stone Edge Farm. Drink 2023-2030.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Moon Mountain District is blended with 13% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec and matured for 32 months in 80% new oak. The nose opens with youthful touches of cedar before blossoming to a core of red cherry fruit accented by touches of dried herbs, leather and aniseed. The full-bodied palate is light on its feet, balancing a concentrated core of herbal fruit with grainy tannins and seamless acidity, and it has a long, floral finish. It's expressive yet latent and deserves plenty of time in bottle to unwind. 581 cases were made, and this will be released in October of 2024.
