(50% new oak) Medium red. Reticent aromas of cherry, raspberry, meat, espresso and cinnamon, with hints of earth and forest floor. Dense but dry, showing more spices and minerals than primary fruit. This has rather prominent acidity and finishes with a pronounced oakiness.

The 2003 Pinot Noir Vista Verde is too earthy with high levels of acidity. It is just not my style of Pinot. (Release date 11/05) Tel. (707) 433-6425; Fax (707) 433-6546
