Gorgeous nose of crushed raspberries and blueberries. Minerals and flowers too. Full-bodied, with soft and silky tannins and a long and fruity finish. Try after 2013.
(100% cabernet sauvignon): Bright ruby. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry and black raspberry lifted by a mineral note. Juicy, spicy and tightly wound; not particularly fleshy but pliant and ripe. Offers much more inner-mouth energy and lift than the regular cabernet. Finishes with chewy tannins that call for at least a few years of aging.
Arthur’s flagship offering, the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Elevation 1147, boasts a gorgeous nose of blueberry pie, creme de cassis, graphite, charcoal and spice. It is a rich, full-bodied yet elegant, well-proportioned, pure, dense, impressive wine. While approachable, it will benefit from 5-6 years of cellaring and will keep for 20-25 years. Tel.
