Including grapes from all the vineyards they used, the 2017 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast has beautiful raspberry and tart cherry fruit as well as complex notes of smoke, earth, underbrush, and spice. Medium-bodied, nicely textured, balanced, and lengthy, it has loads to love.

The 2017 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a blend of fruit from McDougall, Falstaff and Bohan. Bright, floral and beautifully perfumed, the Sonoma Coast Pinot is a lovely introduction to the vintage. Sweet red cherry, raspberry, floral and savory notes are all laced together in this very pretty, gracious Pinot that showcases the brighter, more floral side of Pinot. The whole clusters (100%) add tension and energy. This is a stellar wine in its peer group and price range. Don't miss it.

Firm mid crimson. Friendly raspberry nose. Much less extreme than the Bohan. Very rich start and very charming, Maybe not a strong statement but charmingly accessible and probably the best-value wine in this collection of 2017 Kutch Pinots. Well made and appetising. GV (JR)
