From a site owned by Round Pound, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Mbar Ranch Vineyard comes from a great site in Oakville just south of Vine Hill Ranch. It's a ripe, plush, yet remarkably pure 2021 offering classic Napa black and blue fruit as well as spring flowers, savory herbs, tobacco, and hints of black olive. It's pure, balanced, full-bodied, and incredibly satisfying.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is largely a blend of material that for one reason or another didn't make the cut to get into a single-vineyard bottling. Sourced from several different AVAs in the Napa Valley, it's mocha, dark fruit and scented of cola, full-bodied, plush, and easy to drink but with enough balance and concentration to age up to 15 years.
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is fabulous. Rich, heady and explosive, the 2021 offers up an exotic mélange of ripe red/purplish fruit, rose petal, lavender, mint, spice and sweet oak. The purity of the flavors is just remarkable. Thomas Rivers Brown makes wine for a number of elite projects in Napa Valley. The straight Napa Valley Cabernet captures the essence of his style at an affordable price. It’s a jewel of a wine.
