Score 89/100 · Drink 2003-2006, Robert Parker, Oct 2003

The dark plum/ruby-colored 2001 Zinfandel Juvenile (15.3% alcohol) offers pure briery raspberry and cherry fruit, medium body, surprising elegance and restraint, and a stylish, graceful finish. While not a big wine by Turley’s standards, it is impeccably well made. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. Tel. (707) 963-0940

(includes fruit from recently replanted vines in Haynes, Duarte, Moore and Pesenti vineyards) Medium ruby-red. Exotic jammy berries, black cherry and clove on the expressive nose. Sappy, jammy and ripe, with creamy fruit and unmistakable zin character. A lush, supple zin that's perfect for drinking right now.
