Dark-fruited, open-knit and approachable, the 2020 Syrah la Paciencia Vineyard is spicy with mineral-focused notes and hints of leather and savory essences. Medium to full-bodied, the wine displays a tight mineral tension before unpacking across the mid-palate to reveal tight tannins that clamp down. The wine then compresses, with retreating fruit flavors making way for a spicy and astringent mouthfeel and lingering bitter aftertaste.
