Score 92/100 · Drink 2020-2024, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Nov 2020

The pale garnet colored 2008 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard has delicate notes of saline, cigar wrapper, dried herbs and a hint of potpourri. The palate surprises, with a core of sweet berry fruits and savory accents, maintaining juicy acidity and abundant, dusty tannins, and finishing long and detailed. A lovely, mature expression.

Mid crimson. Spicy but overwhelmingly funky nose and notably dry finish. Very refreshing and different. Relatively lightweight and low key but an agreeable exception.  (JR)

Vivid red. Sexy, highly aromatic bouquet evokes musky raspberry, potpourri and smoky herbs. Silky-sweet and light on its feet, with ripe red fruit flavors growing spicier with air. Finishes long and tangy, with a distinctly floral character and lingering spiciness.
