2014 Azienda Agricola Ronchi di Giancarlo Rocca Barbaresco Barbaresco Ronchi

Ronchi's 2014 Barbaresco is a dark, brooding wine. Wild cherry, herbs smoke, licorice, game and scorched earth give the 2014 its decidedly potent feel. Readers should expect a virile, muscular Barbaresco with tons of pure fruit density. At times the 2014 is a touch rustic, but it's hard for me to penalize it too much given its considerable personality and character.
