The 2017 Chardonnay Savoy is rich, dense and super-expressive. Lemon confit, sweet spice and tropical overtones give the 2017 a bit more body, resonance and raciness than is often the case. All of that makes the 2017 a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next few years.

Coming from two blocks in the Savoy Vineyard in the Alexander Valley, the 2017 Chardonnay Savoy spent 16 months in 20% new French. White grapefruit, crushed lemons, white flowers, and beautiful minerality all emerge from the glass. It's another vibrant, clean, crisp Chardonnay from this team. With more integrated acidity, a medium bodied, rounded, textured, and a great finish, it's already drinking nicely. 342 cases.
The 2017 Chardonnay Savoy is bright, fresh and wonderfully nuanced. Lemon confit, white flowers, and mint are all nicely delineated. Medium in body and energetic, with terrific tension, the 2017 has a lot to offer. This is another very pretty and expressive wine from Radio-Coteau.
