The 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes has slightly more focus and precision, with gorgeous white flowers, crushed rock, smoked earth, and orchard fruit-driven aromas and flavors. Showing the ripe, sexy style of the vintage, it still has great acidity, terrific balance, and an awesome finish.

Dense and layered with a lovely stony note that really speaks of the burgundian terroir. Fleshy, fluffy and full-on, in a very good way. Finishes with a long, toasty aftertaste. (RH)

Bright light yellow. Complex perfume melds soft citrus and yellow orchard fruits, stone and vanillin oak. Sweet, silky and densely packed, with a firm stony underpinning and orange-y acidity energizing the middle palate. A step up in concentration and length from the estate's village wines, offering captivating sweetness without any loss of shape. Excellent potential here.
