Very impressive concentration of ripe fruit which almost succeed in hiding a massive charge of ripe tannins. Subtle and beautifully balanced. (JR)

A mix of pretty red and black fruits leads to medium weight, very ripe flavors of good and sappy pinot character all underpinned by solid tannins. The length is good as is the overall balance and this should require another 3 to 4 years to be at its best. A nice if not exceptional Morey villages.Allen Meadows, Burghound, Nov, 2002
