The 2001 The White Coat comes from the Pesenti Vineyard in Paso Robles. It is a neutral, monolithic, thick, dry white with plenty of body and glycerin, but little character and soul. Drink it over the next year. NOTE: This is an estimated price per bottle. Tel. (707) 963-0940; Fax (707) 963-8683

(78% roussanne with some viognier and marsanne) Very spicy, exotic aromas of dried apricot and honey. Spicy, dry and penetrating; a real potpourri of white fruits. Very long and almost surprisingly dry on the finish, with a late note of honey. Intriguing, rather uncompromising white wine.
