Moving to the reds and a mix of all five single vineyards, the 2014 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands offers tons of charm in its savory red fruits, dried spice and underbrush aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, rounded and ready to go, drink it over the coming 3-4 years.

(aged in 50 percent new French oak) Brilliant red. Suave, highly perfumed red berry, candied rose and vanilla scents carry hints of musky herbs and allspice. Sweet, seamless and penetrating on the palate, offering juicy raspberry and floral pastille flavors and a touch of mocha that builds in the glass. Lingers with very good, spicy persistence; gentle tannins come in late to lend shape to the juicy red fruit.
