Score 90/100 · Drink 2023-2028, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2023

Coming from Tempranillo vines averaging 15 to 25 years in age and brought up in barrel, the 2019 Emilio Moro is a fruit-forward, charming, spicy effort that's medium-bodied and has firm tannins, some savory herb and tobacco notes, good overall balance, and a clean finish that makes you salivate. It's drinking nicely today with some air and is best enjoyed over the coming 3-5 years or so.
