The 2019 Merlot Aida Estate, which includes 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec, offers of lots of classic Merlot noes of chocolate covered cherries, currants, leafy tobacco, and a Saint-Emilion-like sense of minerality and white truffle. Medium to full-bodied, rich, and mouth-filling, it has plenty of background oak and a forward, delicious, opulent style geared for drinking over the coming decade or so. 143 cases.
