Score 87+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

Good medium red. Restrained, slightly briary aromas of wild raspberry, redcurrant and vanillin oak. Firm, intensely flavored and rather backward; less sweet than the last two wines and currently dominated by a note of tarry oak. But finishes with good length.
