Fuller style of cabernet with lots of ripe and juicy fruit plus plum and blueberry character. Plenty of ripe and polished tannins. Finish is a little hot. Drink or hold.

Lastly, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Firehouse Vineyard emerges from Rutherford. It seems to be the more earthy, tannic wine of the trio. It's not as voluptuous and flashy as it two siblings, but it exhibits good structure, pure, earthy, volcanic red and black fruits, with spice box notes in the background as well as forest floor. It is medium to full-bodied, has excellent concentration and a slightly pinched finish. Drink now-2028.
