Quite frankly I expected more from Capture considering the involvement of Denis and May-Britt Malbec. For now Capture remains a work in progress. I remain confident that quality will improve over time. For now, the pricing on these wines remains out of touch with reality. The 2010 Sauvignon Blanc Tradition is a pretty wine. White peaches, sage, wild flowers and tomato leaf are some of the nuances that are woven together in this expressive Sauvignon. There is plenty of varietal character in the glass, along with an attractive textural richness to the fruit that balances some of the grassier notes.
