Good dark red. Pungent aromas of black raspberry jam, black cherry, licorice and roasted oak, along with pepper and torrefaction notes. Then fresh and penetrating in the mouth, with intense dark fruit flavors nicely sweetened but not overshadowed by oak. Finishes firm and persistent. This bottling represents a blend from three Russian River Valley vineyards: Moonshine Ranch, Seven Mules and Zio Tony.

Martinelli

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
