The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from winemaker Bruce Devlin is also terrific. Incorporating close to 10% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot, and tiny amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petite Sirah, like the 2016, it was brought up all in new barrels. Its deep purple color is followed by classic Cabernet notes of green tobacco, cedar, new leather, and plenty of darker berry and raspberry-like fruits. It has the more forward, sexy style of the vintage, plenty of classic, if not old-school, character, and should keep for 15+ years. It’s another smoking value as well.

Score 93/100 · Drink 2018-2033, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2018

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9.5% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 0.5% Petite Sirah. Deep garnet-purple colored, it sings of black and red currants, crushed black berries and black cherries with touches of menthol, cedar chest and Marmite toast. Medium to full-bodied with plenty of energy, it has a bright, refreshing style with plush, ripe tannins, finishing long and juicy.
