The 2018 Zinfandel Bedrock Vineyard comes from very old vines planted in 1854. Medium ruby-purple, it has a nose of graphite-laced blueberries, woodsmoke and Earl Grey tea leaves, with red berries and salted licorice emerging with time in the glass. The palate is powerful and fresh, with broody, mineral-laced fruits and a very long finish that still feels youthfully wound. This will age very well in the cellar.

Smoked plums, black cherries, iron, and crushed stone notes all dominate the 2018 Zinfandel Bedrock Vineyard. This meaty, bloody, medium to full-bodied effort has a great mid-palate, building tannins, and a big finish. It's another singular wine from this estate.

One of the stars in this range, the 2018 Zinfandel Limerick Lane Vineyard is simply exceptional. Bright, floral and explosive, the 2018 is off the charts gorgeous. All the elements simply fall into place. Inky red/blue fruit, floral notes, spice, mint and licorice give the 2018 a sense of magical delineation that is perhaps the single most defining signature of the year. In a word: stunning!
