2011 Mark Herold Uproar Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark red berries, menthol, cloves, licorice and blackberry jam all jump from the glass in the 2011 Uproar. The 2011 shows fabulous intensity and depth, but at the same time, the tannins are a bit dry, especially on the finish. Ideally Uproar is best enjoyed over the next few years. Uproar is essentially made from barrels that don't make the cut from Herold's top Cabernet Sauvignons.
