Dark red. Deep and spicy on the nose, with scents of raspberry, kirsch, blackberry, cured tobacco, vanilla and allspice. Nicely delineated and sweet, with a strong raspberry quality dominating the palate, along with subtle notes of baking spices. The finish is a cornucopia of red berries and spices, with excellent length and lift to the flavors. Really elegant, especially for the vintage.
