The 2014 Syrah Estate Vineyard is very much in the style of the vintage with its balance and purity, yet packs serious richness and depth in its blackcurrants, black olive, bacon fat, herbes de Provence, and both white and black pepper aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, locked and loaded, with awesome fruit, a distinct, mountain-like minerality, perfect balance, and silky tannins, this is a truly brilliant wine from Justin Harmon and the real deal. Don’t miss it. It should keep for 15 years.

The 2014 Syrah Estate Vineyard is deep garnet-purple colored and features crushed blackberries, plum preserves and blueberry tart on the nose with hints of chargrill, licorice and black pepper. Full-on rich and decadent in the mouth, it gives powerful black and blue fruit flavors with a taut structure of rounded tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and peppery. 105 cases produced.
