It begins with haunting notions of chaparral and sagebrush, next offering white peaches, spring honey, roasted almonds and matchstick scents. The generous palate balances intellectual intrigue with sheer deliciousness, featuring satiny waves of herbal fruit that continue to evolve over a tremendously long finish. I love this hedonistic expression and would be inclined to drink it on the earlier side.
