Light yellow-gold. Complex, high-pitched aromas of fresh citrus and pit fruits and jasmine, with a mineral nuance building in the glass. Penetrating and pure, showing excellent focus to its Anjou pear and orange zest flavors underscored by a hint of chalk. This fleshy, dry wine finishes with solid thrust and excellent mineral-driven persistence.

Always a beautiful white, the 2014 Epoch White is a blend of 52% Viognier and 48% Grenache Blanc that was raised in a combination of concrete eggs, stainless steel and neutral oak. Seeing a touch of skin contact and no malolactic fermentation, it has pretty notes of white peach, lemon, honeysuckle and a touch of minerality to go with a bright, juicy, clean and lively feel on the palate. It gains a touch of richness with time in the glass, but it's more fresh than rich. It will drink nicely for 1-3 years.
