A barrel sample of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot, the very deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Red Blend Three Graces features warm cassis, Mediterranean herbs, unsmoked cigars and blueberry pie with touches of damp soil and tree bark. The palate is medium-bodied and chewy with great freshness, finishing with herbal accents lifting the dark fruit.
The 2017 Red Blend Three Graces is a powerful, massive wine with tons of potential. Big tannins wrap around a core of raspberry jam, white chocolate, menthol and spice, while floral notes add an attractive brightness throughout. The 2017 is impressive, even in the early going.
