Score 89-91/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is very promising, mingling notes of cherries and berries with sweet soil tones and hints of rose petals and spices in an incipiently complex bouquet. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fine-boned and elegant, with fine depth at the core, ripe and refined tannins and a penetrating finish.

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Village, which includes 50% whole cluster, has a very perfumed bouquet of lifted red cherries, crushed strawberry and raspberry tart aromas; scents of pressed rose petal develop in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is sweet and candied on the entry, with supple tannins and moderate depth. Elegant in style, if just needing a little more grip toward the finish. Fine.
