2006 Versant Cabernet Sauvignon

From a vineyard on Pritchard Hill, this 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is packed and stacked with blueberry and blackberry fruit interwoven with graphite and earth characteristics. However, a wall of tannin in the finish raises some concerns about when it will hit its full stride. There is enough depth and concentration to support the wine’s structure, but this is a broodingly backward, forboding style of wine that requires 3-4 years of bottle age. Tel.
