The 2007 Syrah Tomorrowland reveals a similar dark ruby/purple color along with gamy red currant fruit and tart acids. While there is decent fruit and purity as well as a hint of complexity, there is little texture or depth, and the wine finishes in a clipped, abrupt manner. Drink it over the next few years. Deep ruby-red. Classic syrah aromas of red and dark berries, smoked meat, incense and licorice. Chewy dark berry and cherry skin flavors are youthfully clenched on entry, then gain sweetness in the middle. The cherry skin note resonates through the very long, slightly bitter finish. This needs patience.
