The 2018 Cuvée Jeanne Marie Williamson-Dore Vineyard checks in as 66% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, and the rest Syrah, all destemmed and brought up in once-used 500-liter barrels. Black raspberries, pepper, saddle leather, and dried flower notes all emerge from this Southern Rhône look-alike, and it’s medium-bodied, with notable purity and freshness as well as a great finish. With time in the glass, the Mourvèdre really shows, and this complex 2018 is going to keep through 2030.

The Grenache-based 2018 Cuvée Jeanne Marie Williamson-Doré Vineyard is flat-out gorgeous. Striking aromatic top notes from the Grenache open up first. On the palate, the 2018 possesses remarkable depth and seemingly endless layers of complexity. All it needs is a bit more time to come together. What a wine! The blend is 66% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and 14% Syrah.
