The 2018 Cuvée Jeanne Marie Williamson-Dore Vineyard checks in as 66% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, and the rest Syrah, all destemmed and brought up in once-used 500-liter barrels. Black raspberries, pepper, saddle leather, and dried flower notes all emerge from this Southern Rhône look-alike, and it’s medium-bodied, with notable purity and freshness as well as a great finish. With time in the glass, the Mourvèdre really shows, and this complex 2018 is going to keep through 2030.

On the palate, the 2018 possesses remarkable depth and seemingly endless layers of complexity. All it needs is a bit more time to come together. What a wine! The blend is 66% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and 14% Syrah.
