Score 89/100 · Drink 2016-2021, Robert Parker, Aug 2016

As for the single vineyards, the 2014 Pinot Noir Rodgers Creek Vineyard from the Sonoma Coast comes from clones 777 and the well-known Pommard clone. This cuvée includes about 15% whole clusters, but the other details of fermentation and aging are the same (indigenous yeast, open-top fermenters, 20% new French oak, and no fining or filtering). This wine exhibits loads of raspberry, cherry and spice box, a touch of underbrush, and some loamy soil notes, and is slightly more fleshy, medium-bodied, attractive and complex. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
