The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravel Series Secret Garden has turned out beautifully. Bright, fresh and perfumed, the Secret Garden captures all the best qualities of the vintage in spades. More importantly, the 2014 is a big departure from recent vintages because of its mid-weight structure and vibrancy. The Secret Garden finishes with substantial depth and firm, brawny tannins that are going to need time to soften.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Secret Garden emerges from a gravelly bed in the Oakville AVA. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it exhibits an opaque ruby/purple color and a deep nose of black cherry, blackcurrant and plum along with touches of oak and licorice. It is medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and well-made. Pure, ripe and layered, it is ideal for drinking over the next 15 or so years.
