Score 89/100 · Drink 2020-2027, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2018

The 2014 Irancy was cropped at a more classic 45 hectoliters per hectare, and it's an attractive wine, offering up spicy notes of raspberry, Griotte cherry, raw cocoa, game bird and roast chestnuts. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, deep and fine-grained, with good depth and dimension, though without the textural lavishness and abundant expression of fruit that's found in the 2017, 2016 or 2015 renditions. Cellar it for a couple of years and follow it for the next 6 or 7.
