A blend of Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, the 2023 Pico Blanco opens with a simple bouquet of golden apples and tropical fruit aromas lifted by floral tones. The texture is soft and round, concentrated in the middle of the palate through the simple, slightly dilute finish.

A blend of 86% Pinot Gris and 14% Pinot Blanc that was brought up in neutral oak, the 2023 Pico Blanco has a beautiful nose of ripe citrus and stone fruits intermixed with a kiss of chalky minerality, orange blossom, and dried herbs. Incredibly well-textured and balanced on the palate, it's on the fuller side of medium-bodied, has a layered mouthfeel, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. It's another absolutely impeccably made wine from this team that will shine over the coming 2-4 years.
The 2023 Pico Blanco is a steely, energetic, textural white. A blend of Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc fermented in barrel with blocked malolactic fermentation, the 2023 displays attractive pear, white flower and peach hints. It finishes long and perfumed, with a touch of tannic grip. Lovely.
