Good bright ruby, not quite as saturated as the Estate bottling. Sappy, fruit-driven aromas of cherry, cassis, raspberry, bitter chocolate and pepper. Intensely flavored and densely packed but rather suave and nicely delineated; this manages to be both thick and light on its feet. The long, fresh, very primary finish builds slowly. I like this!
