2016 ROAR Chardonnay Sierra Mar Vineyard

Brilliant straw-yellow. Aromas of poached pear and nectarine are complicated by orange zest, toasty lees and floral nuances. Sappy and broad on the palate, offering ripe citrus and orchard fruit, sweet butter and honeysuckle flavors that pick up a spicy flourish on the back half. Hints of anise and ginger emerge on a very long, plush, smoky finish that echoes the floral and citrus fruit notes.

The 2016 Chardonnay Sierra Mar is beautifully scented of honey drizzled peaches, key lime pie and pink grapefruit with touches of coriander seed, wet slate and fresh ginger. Full-bodied and full-on seductive in the mouth, the generously fruited palate has a refreshing line to balance plus a gorgeous creaminess texturing the long finish.
