Lots of darker chocolate, blue and black fruits, toasted spice, and flowery incense notes emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Sunshine Valley Vineyard, another rich, powerful, concentrated wine from this estate. It has solid, firm, yet ripe tannins and will benefit from a few years of bottle age. 370 cases.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Sunshine Valley Vineyard is one of the more restrained wines in this range. Bright floral and spice notes lead into a core of red/purplish berry fruit in an attractive, mid-weight wine that impresses with its poise. There are certainly bigger wines in this range, but the Sunshine Valley makes its voice heard more with balance than anything else.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Sunshine Valley Vineyard comes bounding out of the glass with bold expressions of stewed black and red plums, boysenberries and blackcurrants, plus hints of dried Provence herbs and wild mushrooms. Medium to full-bodied, the texture is firm and grainy, supporting the intense black fruit flavors with a lively backbone, finishing long and lifted.
