Score 89/100 · Drink 2024-2029, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Oct 2024

Matured for 16 months in 13% new French oak, the 2021 Pinot Noir Seven's Bench Vineyard is unusually peaty on the nose: graphite, woodsmoke and tobacco overlay a core of blackberry fruit. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and mouthwatering with concentrated, broody flavors and a long, earthy finish. Drink it over the next few years. 195 cases were made.

Score 94/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2023

The 2021 Pinot Noir Sevens Bench Vineyard is a rich ruby hue with a bit of purple tinge and delivers savory, ripe aromas of black cherry, iron-rich earth, and cracked pepper. Full-bodied, with ripe mixed blackberry and black raspberry fruit up front, sweet tannins and a hint of forest floor emerge, and it’s ripe and spicy on the palate, with a long, juicy finish. Drink 2025-2035.
