Bright ruby-red. Intense aromas of raspberry liqueur, spicecake, smoky minerals and potpourri, with a hint of licorice in the background. Densely packed and sweet, with a velvety texture and solid mineral underpinning to its sappy red and dark berry flavors. Gains weight and power on the back end, which emphatically echoes the red fruit and mineral notes. Supple tannins build slowly and fold smoothly into the wine's plush, extroverted fruit on the strikingly persistent finish.
