It may seem hard to believe, but the 2004 Langhe Arborina takes things to another level. Here it is the interplay of exuberance and vibrancy that is totally captivating. The 2004 is intense, structured and destined to provide exceptional drinking for another decade plus. Scents of cherry, mint, spice and licorice add the final shades of nuance. The 2004 has really blossomed over the last few years.

Dark red. Perfumed aromas of currant, tobacco, blood orange, menthol and dried flowers. Round and juicy but in a rather cranky stage today, and not especially sweet. This shows a nebbiolo delicacy and good mid-palate energy, but today the dusty tannins are apparent. Offers a finishing note of tobacco leaf.
