Score 88/100 · Robert Parker, Jun 2006

A new offering, the 2004 Antaeus, does not qualify as a Zinfandel, even though it includes 59% of that varietal (along with 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot). It does not possess as much character as its siblings, revealing a more monolithic, muted personality. Perhaps it is too young to judge at present. Tel. (707) 942-5310
