2006 Rusack Syrah Santa Barbara

Bright ruby. Gently spicy red and dark berry aromas are surprisingly demure for a syrah. Smooth in texture, offering gently sweet, pinot noir-like red fruit flavors and a late note of candied flowers. A polite rendition of this variety that finishes with good clarity and persistence.
