A penetratingly pungent, invigoratingly zesty nose features fresh lime, white currant, white peach and orange peel, along with striking anticipations of the stone, iodine, and mineral salts that go on to give intriguing complexity to this beauty’s sleek, generously fruity, palpably extract-rich palate and vibrant, superbly sustained, sharply-focused finish.

The 2015 Riesling Smaragd Dürnsteiner Höhereck offers a clear and intense bouquet of ripe fruits and some leafy aromas. Full-bodied, fresh and aromatic on the palate this is a clear, pure and elegant, fruit-intense and very salty Riesling with stony flavors and a long and tension-filled finish. Very good expression and mineral structure here.
