More bright citrus, pineapple, minty herbs, and a kiss of honeyed minerality emerge from the 2022 Chardonnay, a medium-bodied, fresher, vivid, focused Chardonnay that has bright acidity. It stays nicely balanced, has notable purity, and outstanding length.

Seavey's Chardonnay is planted on lower parts of the property, close to Conn Creek (the watercourse, not the winery) and is made without any malolactic fermentation. There's modest new-oak influence, allowing pineapple fruit to shine through brightly. It's medium to full-bodied, plump and slightly custardy and silky in texture from lees contact. It's solid rather than exciting, but it does show excellent length on the finish and the potential to drink well for several years.
